Brenda Derby
President
President and founder of BL Rogers. Brenda has served as President of The Gift and Decorative Accessories Association as well as chairman of many sub committees throughout her tenure. She is a member of GHTA and Club 35, both professional gift sales organizations dedicated to promoting professional, successful, ethical practices in the wholesale gift trade. A perennial top sales performer in her own right, Brenda has always enjoyed working closely with her customers in the field. She enjoys planning parties, tasting wine and playing with her Yellow Lab SNOWY.
Dan Derby
Vice President
Vice President and sales manager. Dan holds an MBA from Northeastern University and is responsible for much of the business communications and sales management within the group. Dan and Brenda have known each other since childhood and were married in 1988. Dan enjoys a good round of golf, reading about American Presidents and is a “die hard” Red Sox fan.
Becky Wong
Territory Manager
Becky has been a territory manager with BL Rogers since the company was founded in 1984. Becky has consistently been one of BL Rogers top sales performers for many years. The secret to her success is constant contact with customers and vendors. Her knowledge of the local market place and the industry in general makes her a wealth of knowledge to her customers. Becky lives in Wilmington, MA and services the Greater Boston area. When she’s not hard at work with BL Rogers, she’s hard at work raising her 6 year old son with her husband, Mike.
Ralph Matregrano Jr.
Territory Manager
Ralph joined the company in 1987 and served our Maine customers through 1999. He and his wife moved to Northampton, MA in 2000 and he began servicing the Western MA and Western CT area. Ralph has a long resume in the wholesale and retail trade. He worked as a buyer for Value House in Maine for several years before opening three retail gift stores. He then joined the ranks of the wholesale sales side of the business when her began representing Enesco in the early 1980’s. We are very fortunate to have such experience in our group. When Ralph’s not out on the road he can be found in his work shop creating whatever his tools and mind can come up with.
Joan Butterfield
Territory Manager
Joan has been servicing BL Rogers accounts in New Hampshire and Vermont since 1988. A native of New Hampshire, she spent many years as a resident of Rutland, VT before returning to Grantham, NH. Joan has owned her own retail shop and is accomplished in creating many hand-crafted products herself. She enjoys her needlepoint work and fishing when she has free time.
Joel Marks
Territory Manager
Joel services Rhode Island, Central MA, and Cape Cod Joel joined our group in 1990. Joel’s father Oscar had been a sales representative in the gift industry and Joel gained much of his early experience working with him for Enesco. He then spent a few years working with Goebel and has been with BL Rogers ever since. Joel loves to ski and bike ride and helping with his wife raising their three boys.
Roland Crooker
Territory Manager
Roland began working with us in 2000 covering the State of Maine after Ralph’s move to Massachusetts. It was his first foray into the wholesale selling side of the world. He has done an exceptional job since joining BL Rogers and has never looked back. Roland brings with him retail experience as well as an incredible talent for eye-catching product display. Roland loves to read in his down time and especially is interest in forward looking “sci-fi.”
Susan Levesque
Territory Manager
Susan joined the group in 2006 and services Southern Connecticut. Susan had several years of experience on the road before rejoining the repping business with BL Rogers after taking some time out to raise her two boys with her husband Dan. She has made an instant positive impact in her territory.
Frank Cadwell
Territory Manager
Our newest member of the team, Frank joins us after 20+ years in the indusrtry as a sales representative and principle of his own agency. Frank has a great reputation in the industry for his professionalism, honesty and strong work ethic. We are thrilled to have him on our team and we are confident you will find his experience an asset in helping you make profitable decisions for your business. Frank manages the Eastern New Hampshire Territory.
Mary Sturzo
Showroom/ inside sales manager
Mary began with our group in 2000 as our showroom manager. Her position grew quickly as we understood her wealth of experience in both the retail and wholesale part of the gift industry. Mary currently provides us with most of our inside sales activities. Several grandchildren – all local – keep her busy and smiling!
